The same happens during summers where the body of the cat gets Dehydrated and parents get uneasy with what they should do next to prevent any miss happening. Cats do love to stretch out and bask in the sun. However, she may enjoy it so much that she stays out long enough to risk getting a sunburn – especially if she has a light-coloured coat, or a pink nose or pink skin.
When summertime is around, remember to take extra care.
Help your cat by setting up areas of shade in her favourite sunbathing spots. She will love cardboard boxes. Try turning one on its side and create a shelter for her to sleep in.
There’s a chance that she may ignore the shade you create and simply move back to a sunny spot. Try keeping her indoors during the middle of the day, when the sunshine is at its peak.
Choose a non-toxic variety of sunscreen to protect her skin and ears – she may not enjoy it at first and try to wipe it off, but she’ll get used to it.

Nice to know that you have got a garden in your house, obviously because you’re reading this. Having a garden in your house can give you better than what you’ve thought of. Cats need some walk in the evening, night & day time, to help them with the same. It is not possible to take them out, again and again, every time so you can use your better half (garden) for the same. DO not forget that especially in the summer seasons you should facilitate the cat with as many shelters as you can. Animals usually have light-weighted and light-colored furs and to protect them you can use some special cat customized Sun cream which will protect the feline from sunburnt. As a responsible cat parent, consider the Veterinarian before wielding any product on your cat and if the VET agrees to avail any sun cream on the feline you can use a sun cream consisting of Titanium Dioxide-based. Even if the VET does not allow you to use sun cream on your Cat you should go for any other thing they consult you otherwise the fur of the cat would be affected in hot seasons.

The most obvious thing that comes to mind when we talk of pet care in summers is to keep them in the cold environment as much as you can. TO let the pet feel secure and cool you can keep fixing a fan in the room she sleeps or you can fix her in a room where Air Conditioner or Cooler is available. Place her bed in a room where there is a window for ventilation but keep it in the notice that the window is above her reach.
