Himalaya Himpyrin - AntiInflammatory is a clinically tested herbal medicine used in dogs and cats to relieve fever, inflammation, and pain. In a potent liquid drop, Himpyrin is a natural antipyretic (reduces fever) that acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) 1 and 2 enzymes and preventing prostaglandin synthesis, hormones generated at tissue damage or infection sites where they cause inflammation, pain, and fever as part of the healing process. For pets, the action decreases fever. Himpyrin is also an effective pain relief to inhibit pain neurotransmitters from being activated and block sensitisation of nerve fibres. It can be used to treat fevers with various underlying causes and is particularly effective in illness or post-surgery cases. Can be mixed with food or given orally.
